Do you know that you’re just an article away from your greatest idea ever, just a chapter away from your next biggest opportunity, just a book away from your wonder-filling breakthrough today?

In this season of expanded capacity, I hope you and I have overcome the laziness in not reading anything more than two short paragraphs! We claim to not have time for reading, but the truth is that THAT is just a Self-Management Statement (SMS)!

  • That SMS indicates where our priorities are.
  • That SMS is a confession of how much we want to grow.
  • That SMS depicts how deep we want to understand.
  • That SMS exposes how much we really want to learn.
  • Time is not an issue of resource, but of priority.

“Whatever you take as priority in your life will ALWAYS find time in your schedule. Priorities are always scheduled.” – Samuel A. Bakutana

If you’ve even read this far on a post that doesn’t immediately promise 5 steps to ‘hot sex’ or 3 top secrets to too much money or the 1 thing you must not forget to win a political race:

  • There is nothing that will stop you from succeeding in life.
  • You’re one in a million — maybe one in 700 million.
  • You’re going to change this world by all means.

I would have said, “Write ‘UNIQUE’ below this post if you’ve read this far” and you would see how many would do! But I won’t because anyway, many don’t come this far in reading… and thus don’t go far even in life. Almost all other hitherto well-known “keys to success” have changed padlocks but reading has remained in its own paddock as a masterkey for success according to many wealth masters’ personal confessions — be it Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Warren Buffet, Patrick Bitature, Oprah Winfrey, Mark Cuban, Aliko Dangote, even Mark Zuckerberg — and Samuel A. Bakutana!

It is time to consider and act upon such resolutions as below:

  • Please CREATE TIME to read, re-read and read again — today!
  • Understand that action comes from passion.
  • Realize that that passion often comes from an increase in relevant knowledge and a making sense of one’s daily experiences.
  • Increase your knowledge to feed your passion and watch your action soar to the summit of achievement. Inspired leaders are inspiring readers,
