May 2015 be “Twenty-Fit-In,” a year in which 20 great opportunities will fit into one year for YOU.
Well, today, as I watched one of my favourite programs on LTV, musician Smokie Norful (https://www.facebook.com/officialsmokienorful?ref=ts&fref=ts) started interviewing author Tonny Tenney (http://www.godchasers.net/)… and yes, I captured some serious lessons that I agree can launch us to greater heights this year. I now take the pleasure to share with you just eight of them, with gratitude to Tonny Tenney for sharing his heart out, triggering this post.
1. Hard things will happen when there is passion in your heart.
2. Your talent can take you places where your character cannot keep you.
3. It is not about starting; I want to be one of those people who will finish.
4. It may not happen quick. In fact it sometimes safer to take time…
5. The only difference between a live birth and a miscarriage is timing. Don’t rush it; take your time.
6. There are seasons of life; respect the seasons.
7. I get my sense of satisfaction from worship and family. Preaching and writing is my assignment; I am happy to fulfil my assignment, but worship is where I get my self worth. Worship is the fuel; it is the energy.
8. When your problems are too big, your altitude is too low. Mount up high with wings like an eagle.
